Before you get to excited no I am not writing about a wonderful romantic valentines night last night…..we are celebrating this Saturday thank you very much! Last night was crazy. We had alot more students here on V-Day than what I thought we would. Praise the lord almost all of our small group leaders were here. You could definantly tell love was in the air. It didn’t excatly thrill our student’s that we split up last night into guys and girls for our talks. I guess its a big deal for students to be away from each other for an hour when you know your total relationship will last for 2 weeks maybe. From what I understand Melanie did a fantastic job with the girls, and David did an incrediable job with the guys. I on the other hand struggled to keep our middle school boys roped in during our large group time. I guess when your talking about the way God made guys and girls different it’s funny to a middle school boy. Hopefully they heard something. I am so grateful for our small group leaders in the patience they have with their group. We truly could not do what we do without them. My prayer is that God brings more small group leaders here sooner than later as our student ministry continues to grow. Or maybe your interested in joining our team?
