This past week in Brazil taught me so much about myself and my relationship with Christ. I walked away after this week wondering why I am willing to take off to another country and walk in a strange neighborhood to meet people in hopes of being able to share the gospel with them. I came back wondering why I am not willing to do the same in the neighborhood Dawn and I live in. Don’t get me wrong we have some really difficult neighbors, when I say difficult I don’t think that begins to explain them. However, they are still in need of Christ. God continued to challenge me this week in making the step next door instead of over the ocean to share His love. What has God been teaching you lately? I would love to hear.
God has been teaching me that time is so precious. We only get a small amount of time on this Earth. We need to be mindul and concerned about how we spend that time because once it is gone you cannot get it back. Don’t waste time with the petty things in life. I am learning that if I am willing than God will use whatever it is I have to offer no matter if I think it is a strong part of who I am or if I view it as a weakness. Amy Hood taught a little bit about that several weeks ago.
I guess God has been revealing alot to me lately.
glad to have you and everyone else that went back and safe.
