We finished up our series called Bringing Sexy Back. Huge shout out to Elevation Churchfor the art work and ideas from their series called Bringing Sexy Back. For whatever reason our team always comes through with super creative ideas for our moral boundaries series. This year is probably my favorite by far. I really feel like we made some progress with our students during this series. My favorite two weeks have to be the last two as we took questions straight from students and answered them. That’s right we answered questions that students actually had about sex, love, and relationships and answered them with truth. Didn’t beat around the bush but told students the standards they should be living by. We ended the night in small groups with students making a list of their qualities in a future mate and what were non negotiable, writing their emotional boundaries and physical boundaries, and then finally committing to remain sexually pure from now on. Love this series, loved last night, and can’t wait to teach on sex again!
Sunday nights post may be a little late and depending if I can get internet access in Orlando. Should be a great post after spending 10 hours in a car with some of our student ministry team. I am sure you might hear a Canaan or Scott story soon.
